Together, we create a welcoming and inclusive birdwatching space for all.

Join us as we get outside in nature in the Boston area!

Who we are:

Feminist Bird Club (FBC) Boston is an inclusive bird-watching club dedicated to getting outside in and around the Boston area. Our work centers the experiences of, and fights for the rights of, people who identify as Indigenous, trans, non-binary, queer, women, disabled, Black, brown, neurodiverse, or any combination thereof, and for the equity of people from all socioeconomic backgrounds, women, non-binary folks, and members of the LGBTQ community.

We are a chapter of the Feminist Bird Club, which was founded in 2016 in NYC by Molly Adams.

Feminist Bird Club Boston hosts events across eastern Massachusetts, including the homeland of the Pawtucket, Massachusett, Naumkeag, and Wabanaki peoples. It’s our intention to offer land acknowledgement as an expression of solidarity and an opportunity for people to learn more. Learn more about the people on whose land you live via Native-Land. Learn more about land reparations to Indigenous people here. Learn more about the Native Land Conservancy, an indigenous-led land conservation project based in Mashpee (south of Boston).
